...that I'm still alive. Or so I think.

If my journal is to believed, I've apparently been hanging out in the Philippines for more than a year, but fortunately that is not the case. I've just been paying attention to other things lately; despite my intentions to create and post more art, I just have not been able to do so. Redesigned character references, among other art ideas, are years overdue, so I hope anyone still watching me stays on the lookout. I also happen to be working on some music projects (for real this time), and I'll link to the first song I complete once it's done.

I probably won't reply back any comments right away, because I'll be in the Philippines for the next two weeks. I had some art planned before this trip, but I've been busy with a job this past month and thus too tired to do anything (hence the lack of recent activity). I'll try to have something prepared when I come back...some reorganization is in order, including new character references featuring slightly tweaked designs, as well as ideas that have been lingering for years.

I'm gonna try to be more active in creating arts again. I've wasted way too much of my free time; I had many valid reasons last year, but not as much this year. With as much source material and inspiration I have to work with, I should be churning out tons of pictures and lyrics and whatnot. You deserve better; I can be better.

I've recently organized my gallery and favorites into folders and collections, so feel free to check that out. I really like how far deviantART has come on a technical level; everything is so clean and streamlined compared to the messy clutter during my first year here. It's definitely a great place to show off your art.

However, I'm not sure how involved I'll be in the community this time around--I don't and won't comment as much as I used to due to life changes, and I've had too many issues in the past with a few certain people trying to take arguments and shit way too personally. Fortunately the community itself is a lot bigger than before, so hopefully this means plenty of new chances to connect with other artists and old friends. I'll still be asking for better comments over more comments as always, though.

In this day and age, I can no longer make guarantees about this kind of thing, but maybe all I need to be productive is to relax and make this place fun again. This peace is what all true warriors strive for!
